Being an immigrant was a huge part of their identity and an integral part of God's Story.

God expected His People to remember that they were the descendants of immigrants and to demonstrate generous hospitality as a result.

God's "Immigration Laws" were intended to protect and provide, not oppress and divide.

This is a "love" story for sure, but it isn't a story of flirting and courting; it's a story of unconditional love for God and for people.
